Jodi Smits Anderson

"You can not lose starting with those established, factual, proven pieces of work."

TJ Brennen

"I consider the AIA contract documents as being the baseline by which everything else should be graded off of. They've been a fantastic foundation for us to grow our business with."

Ron Geren

Principal/Owner

“People in the industry are familiar with AIA Contract Documents. The contractors, the consultants, the architects, and many owners, as well as the attorneys that represent each one of those. With AIA Contract Documents, there are no surprises.”

Andrew Liles

Architect & Professor

“I totally recommend AIA Contract Documents, especially for sole proprietors and small firms, where your time needs to be everywhere, and if it's one thing off your plate that you don't have to do, even better.”

Mahbuba Nahid Kahn

President

“AIA Contract Documents are very inclusive, holistic, and cover many grounds, including the roles and responsibilities of an owner, the general contractor, and the architect.”

Colin Craig

Manager of Digital Architecture & Senior Architect

“Using AIA Contract Documents is very helpful, especially when there are disputes in a project. It allows you to keep your back covered, and your team and your firm’s backs protected against any sort of needless litigation.”

Mike Lopez

Technical Director, Building Sciences

“It's pretty seamless doing it online and being able to use the AIA Contract portal to work through uploading project information.”

Debra Gerod

Partner

“I would encourage everyone who is not yet using AIA Contract Documents to really see the value in the consistency and balance."

Elmer Prudente

Project Architect

"These are documents that have been tried, tested, and true. It's like if you were taken to court, would you hire yourself as your own lawyer, or would you hire an actual lawyer? It wouldn't make sense to rewrite the process when you already have a template readily available for you.”

Amy Hellmund

Principal

“They are already vetted for risk with legal, so I know it's something that I can trust, and it's a standard and it's going to protect us in the standard of care when working with our consultants or contractors.”

Christopher Lasky

President and Founder

“I used them because they are the standard, and I see the documents in use and how effective they are at managing and mitigating risk on the projects.”

Christopher Daubert

Principal

“I use AIA Contract Documents because they are a good industry standard that helps protect the architect and also the interests of all parties.”
